MOVE WHILE YOU STILL CAN



Too often exercise is used as a punishment!!

  • Maybe you ate something ‘bad’ and feel guilty about it?

  • Maybe the lighting in your room made you put on a couple of extra kg's this morning?

  • Maybe you’re going out to dinner with friends later and feel you need to ‘earn’ tonights calories?

Why is it that all of the mindsets above project negativity? Is exercise the devil? 😈


NEWSFLASH - Exercising is not a right. It’s a privilege!


You should exercise because you enjoy it and it makes you feel good! There are some people in this world who physically cannot walk, let alone exercise and yet here we are miserably dragging ourselves to the gym and feeling shitty, because we caught up with our best friend for brunch and (heaven forbid) shared a muffin.


My thoughts?

1️) At the end of the day, if you are training for the wrong reasons or doing something you don’t enjoy, then you’ve already failed.


2️) If you are unhappy with who you are, no amount of exercise or abs will make you love yourself. Be comfortable with you, recognise your strengths and be proud to be unique. Because being like everyone else is #boring
