The full pantry

A road front cafe with its own health food store next door is the perfect spot for a weekend brunch. Their by-folding windows are going to be a treat come summer, but in winter we enjoyed a coffee (or two) and brunch in the warmth of the indoors.

With a wide range in both their cafe and food store catering for dietary needs and intolerances, The Full Panty was a hit with this kid and her ‘glu-tard’ special friend *running joke promise she wont hit me.

A family business that has been operating in the local area since 2004 provided a quick and friendly service, and a killer cup of coffee.

The menu looked so good we didn't know what to choose, so we picked 3 meals to share (insert hands over face emoji haha)

- Matcha and white chocolate panna cotta with granola

- Smores spiced waffle

- Smashed avo on a freshly house-baked bagel served with beetroot puree, seed clusters, smoked paprika dukkah and feta

The bagel certainly isn't your traditional smashed avo but just as delicious. The panna cotta was white chocolate and the waffle smores #enoughsaid

All three meals were generous in size (especially the waffle) and good value for money.

Despite visiting early afternoon on a Saturday, we were able to find a seat along the bar without fuss. There was however a small wait for larger groups with 4+.

The best part (having taken a fond liking to their house-made granola) was after our meal we headed next door to the health food store where we were able to purchase ingredients off their menu to enjoy at home.

Our only criticism (more from a business perspective given Melbournes cafe culture) is that they are closed on a Sunday.

All-in-all one of Croydon’s best!
